TERMS & CONDITIONS

House Rules

  • Full payment of the reservation must be made at check-in.
  • No smoking on the premises
  • We are not responsible for damage or loss of personal belongings.
  • Hotel damages will be charged for (wine stains, burns, cuts, among others) that the guest may cause during their stay.
  • We are not responsible for personal injuries caused inside or outside our facilities.
  • Quiet time starts 11pm until 8am.
  • We reserve the right to remove ill-mannered guests without a refund.

Cancellation Policy Highlight

Please read our cancellation policy carefully, as it is not common for us to make an exception for it. In order to avoid any misunderstandings, we would appreciate your attention to the following:


  • No refund is made within 30 days of arrival.
  • Date changes will be made at least 8 days in advance.
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the paid nights will not be refundable.
  • In case the guest simply does not show up (and does not cancel in advance), the total price of the reservation will be charged and this will be non-refundable.

PROPERTY AND CANCELLATION POLICY

 All reservations require a 50% payment at the time of booking. Until 30 days prior to the date of your stay, payments are 100% refundable. The additional 50% payment will be charged 48 hours prior to your stay. If the reservation is canceled 48 hours before check-in, we are more than happy to provide you with a 100% house credit for use within one year of the original date of your stay. 

 

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is 3pm. You will receive a welcome text message when your room is ready. Check-out time is 11am. 


PAYMENTS AT CHECKIN 
All outstanding balances and tabs are settled at checkin.
When you book online with us, our system keeps your card on file to cover any room charges and damages. Missing items, excessive soiling, or damage to furniture, linens, carpets, and other property will be assessed and then billed to the customer at our replacement cost, which may include labor costs. We will always try to be transparent in our communication about damage to rooms. 

PROPERTY RULES 
No smoking of any kind anywhere on the property, including the courtyard. Smoking anywhere on the property will result in a $200 cleaning and smoke damage charge. No pets. Children are welcome at The Inn, provided we are advised of your intended occupancy at the time of reservation and your children are properly supervised by a responsible adult at all times. We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen property. A liability waiver must be signed prior to arrival and to receive entry to your room. 


NOISE 

Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am. During this time, we ask that you respect your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. If we have to repeatedly ask you to quiet down, we will then ask you to leave the property and no refund will be given. 

PARKING
24 hour parking is provided on the West side of the building along Railroad street. Parking on Main Street is restricted to hours set by the town. The Inn is not responsible for fees or tickets issued by the town for parking on Main Street. 

TECHNOLOGY 
Our Wi-Fi is complimentary to all guests and it is fully accessible throughout the property. Streaming services are provided on all TVs. Services provided are NBC’s Peacock service and Netflix.  If you add your personal account to our tv’s you’ll do so at your own risk with your personal data.  The Inn does not regularly inspect or make changes to streaming services as a part of our room turnover process. Feel free to use our accounts or you can login to your preferred apps. 

WEATHER AND ALTITUDE
Our high mountain climate tends to fluctuate significantly day-to-day, so be sure to bring appropriate clothing. No matter when you are visiting, it is a good idea to bring plenty of warm layers and a rain/snow-proof shell and waterproof boots. COMMUNICATION
At the Inn we value being in touch with you for your every need. For the sake of convenience and efficiency our staff are best reached via text message to the hotel number. Upon booking you’ll receive an automated text message which will be the beginning of our communication with you. We are also available via email, by phone and through your desired booking service. However, due to the small town nature and feel of our business operations as well as the size of our staff we are not always immediately available through all these platforms. (Sometimes the person on the phone is also cleaning and preparing your room :). We promise to respond as quickly as possible and simply ask that our guests try out our texting platform as the best way of getting in touch. 

ENVIRONMENT
At The Inn we strive to accommodate your rest and recharging as you take time to get away. It must be noted that our little hotel is located in the heart of downtown Buena Vista. Our building is a recently renovated late 1800’s property that has been through many many uses! The lower level of the building includes a restaurant and bar where you can enjoy a gourmet personal pizza with your companions or family or enjoy drinks as our town shuts down for the evening.  Due to our location and the lively environment of downtown BV and the nature of our building some rooms experience more noise than others.  Please let us know if your stay requires a quiet atmosphere and you’re an early to bed type. We will adjust your room reservation or will be happy to recommend another location that can better suit your needs.
